Central Air Safety Committee (CASC)

The Central Air Safety Committee (CASC) works in direct partnership with the Breeze Airways Safety Department to promote and uphold the highest standards of aviation safety.

Critical Incident Response Program (CIRP) Committee

The Critical Incident Response Program (CIRP) provides timely, confidential, peer-based support for pilots affected by traumatic or high-stress events.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee supports the Breeze Master Executive Council MEC by providing consistent and transparent communication between the MEC, Breeze ALPA committees, ALPA National, and our pilot group.

Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs (GA) Committee serves as the unified voice of Breeze pilots in advocating for our profession at the highest levels of government.

Grievance Committee

The Breeze Grievance Committee serves as a dedicated advocate for pilots who believe their rights under the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) have been violated.

Human Intervention & Motivation Study (HIMS) Committee

The Human Intervention and Motivation Study (HIMS) Committee is a program specifically designed for commercial pilots affected by substance use disorders.

Hotel Committee

Under current Contract Negotiations, the Hotel Committee’s goal is to work collaboratively with Breeze Airways management to establish and uphold clear hotel standards and policies through a future contract.

Jumpseat Committee

The Jumpseat Committee works to establish jumpseat agreements with other airlines. This allows Breeze pilots to utilize jumpseating for commuting.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is dedicated to maintaining accurate and up-to-date membership records, including hiring, retirement, and attrition statistics. 

Military Affairs Committee

The Military Affairs Committee is committed to supporting Breeze ALPA members who serve as active reservists, guardsmen, or veterans of the Armed Forces.

Negotiations Committee

The Negotiations Committee is responsible for securing contractual improvements that reflect the priorities and needs of the Breeze pilot group.

Pilot Peer Support Committee

The ALPA Pilot Peer Support (PPS) Program is a confidential resource created to support pilots through life’s challenges both personal and professional.

Pilot-to-Pilot Committee

The mission of the Pilot-to-Pilot (P2P) Committee is to make ALPA more visible, accessible, and relatable to Breeze pilots through direct, peer-to-peer engagement.

Professional Standards Committee

The Professional Standards (ProStands) Committee supports the Breeze pilot group by promoting high standards of conduct.

Retirement & Insurance Committee

The Retirement & Insurance (R&I) Committee assists individual pilots with questions related to retirement plans, insurance coverage, and medical benefits.

Scheduling Committee

The Scheduling Committee supports Breeze pilots with nearly all scheduling-related matters once they have been released to the line, excluding Training and PBS.

Strategic Preparedness & Strike Committee (SPSC)

The Strategic Preparedness & Strike Committee (SPSC) builds an internal structure of union volunteers to support and implement an MEC’s strategic plan or carry out activities involved in large-scale union efforts.

Training Committee

The Training Committee is dedicated to monitoring, supporting, and improving all aspects of pilot training at Breeze, including new hire, recurrent, and upgrade programs.
